As a huge Thank you to everyone that reads my ramblings and/or reviews I am going to run a new competition. The prize will be a £10 Argos Gift card,which I hope will come in useful. As many of you will know I only started blogging in May and am really enjoying it. It gives me an outlet to express my views to an audience which is something I’ve never really had before. As well as that it is giving me a visual and written record of my children’s developments.

Me too Sand,I love it.I’m not a huge fan of Summer or Winter but I love Spring and Autumn,I’d say that April and September are my favourite months of the year.

We love Haloween,we usually just dress the kids up and only visit the houses on our street that we know participate in the Haloween festivities but last year we decided to go a bit further,we had a fantastic evening.

Same here-My daughter was 4 in June and I’ve decided for her to go part-time for a while but I’m planning on taking the 2 youngest boys to lots of Toddler groups with the hope that it might use up some of their never-ending energy supply.

We have my hubby and his twin sister’s Birthday in September,a few more in October and 2 of my children aswell as my stepdaughter in December.Our youngest will be 1 on Christmas Eve.

I think my favourite things about September are getting the kids back to school, back in routine and getting a chance to get the house straight after the hols. I love the last days of warm sunshine ,nights drawing in which makes me anticipate evenings spent with the family or a good book and the onset of autumn towards the end.

I won a competition earlier this year from a Photo site and chose to have a Personalised large notebook with a picture of me and the children on it,its now my Competition book. I’m not a huge stationary fan-my 8 year old daughter is though-she loves Paperchase-off there tommorow for her back to school stationary.

My favourite thing about September is when the nights start getting darker. It’s more natural to go to bed when it is dark and this happens earlier now. Also it helps my young son go to bed quicker at 7pm when it’s not light outside so more relax time at the end of the day for Mum & Dad!

I love September because my youngest son was born on the 23rd!! So we have a real exciting run up to his birthday as he is only 10 at the moment!! So far he has changed his mind several times on what he wants to do for it so he needs to make a big decision

My favourite thing about September is it’s the start of the time to get ready for Christmas. I get excited counting the days to Halloween and Bonfire night bringing me nearer to the best celebration of the year. Everyone is happier and shops and streets are bright with their decorations. September 1st starts it all.

My favourite thing about September is that it’s the month my husband and I always go on a UK mini break just ‘the two of us’.
We’re both keen photographers and walkers, and autumn is the perfect season to combine both hobbies (and to enjoy some valuable time alone).
